There are approx. 2500 beads to an ounce of size 10/o beads, approx. 4000 beads to a hank of size 11/o beads, and approx. 5400 beads to a hank of size 13/o beads. We sell these beads in the various types and sizes as follows:

Metallic seed beads are an opaque bead with a high quality metallic effect which makes it appear to actually be made of metal. The result is stunning, giving your finished beadwork project dimension beyond the normal all glass feel. They come in sizes 10/o and 11/o. The Metallic-Iris seed beads (or Rainbow seed beads) have an irridecent look in an opaque bead, resulting in a really nice rainbow metallic look. They are only available in the size 11/o bead.
Luster seed beads are an opaque bead with a high quality satin polished effect which makes it appear to "luster". The result adds a quality of richness to your finished beadwork project. They are only available in the size 11/o bead.
Opaque seed beads are available in many beautiful colors, all of which actually are opaque (can not see through). These are probably the most commonly used seed bead due to the numerous vibrant colors available and their versitile application within a finished project.
Pearl seed beads (also called CEYLON) are an opaque bead with a high quality pearlised effect which makes it appear to actually be a pearl. The result is stunning, giving your finished beadwork project dimensions beyond the normal all glass feel. They are available in the size 10/o or 11/o bead.
Silver Lined seed beads (also called Rocailles) are actually a transparent bead of various colors which are lined with a shiny silver coating inside the hole. The result is a brilliant colored bead which sparkles when it is caught by the light.
Transparent seed beads are made of transparent glass of various colors (the color given). Due to this transparency, the background the beads are mounted on, or even the color of the thread passing through the beads, will have a profound effect on the resulting color of the finished beadwork.
